Difference between a BRB and CRB?
What are the differences between the two. I've never really paid attention to the two, but i am beginning to pay attention to these animals. I know the color differences are there, but what about the sizes and etc.?

I was curious too and was reading up on the Rainbow Boa. This site has some great info on the two:

    http://www.therainbowboa.co.uk/rainb...care_sheet.htm

The site states the CRB is smaller boa reaching up to about 5' (Avg being about 4') while the BRB are a more medium size boa and can reach up to about 7' (Avg being about 5').

Thank you, that link helped out a ton. Gave me a better understanding of the two and a few other Rainbow boas that I was unaware of.

The appearance differs between the two subspecies. BRB are different shades of red and orange with highly contrasting black spots and rings. CRB are a much more pale snake with more subdued patterning. Adult CRB are quite dull in color when compared to the BRB. Both have the iridescence that gives this species its common name, but I personally think it is more intense and better looking in the BRB.
