    it seems as if some (a lot actually like more than ten) of the scales on my balls belly are going through some kind of shed. like the normal scale is there but there is a transparent one flaking off of it. plus i just saw him yawn like once. anything i should be concerned about?

    pictures would definitely help for the belly scales, it could be early scale rot or it could be nothing. no way of knowing without pics.

    As for the yawning, it's normal. They yawn sometimes for no reason. As long as he isn't yawning a lot, and there's no mucous in his mouth, then there's nothing to worry about.

    oh loll well thank you. you kinda need to do the full view to see what im talking about with the scales. anything i should be worried about?? it doesnt look like scalerot whatso ever if you ask me. there is no redness at all

    Hi,

    No not unless there is somehting wrong with him. :)

    It's just that oil based creams etc can cause the very top layer of their scales to flake off like that.
