So when do they start feeding again?
My 2 adult Bp's went off food the first weekend in December, and have been pairing up but when will they start to eat again. I offer every week but killing and freezing the live one's is getting to me. My male takes frozen so they just go to waste.

Once they start refusing due to breeding it can take a month or till spring time.

3 of my females that have locked are 3 weeks no food now.

If your female is off food she probably wont eat again until after she lays eggs. The male all depends some will eat right thru some go off food for a couple weeks or months. You can prob just try every other week if you want with the male. I know once my females go off feed I dont even atmp to feed them until after they lay.

Hmm, my males are doing well this year so far. Last year my male stopped for three weeks. I guess one of my 'breeder' males did stop for me this year. I only tried to breed him once because he's a tough feeder and small for a '09. He refused for about a month until I finally broke down and bought him a dang mouse. If you can feed live why not do it?

If you asking about girls, my girls are all still going strong. Last year the girl I was breeding stopped eating the second week of February until two days after she laid in June. And like Action said, once the girl stops, I don't bother attempting.

Dont sweat them not eating. If of proper size your fine to wait it out.

I got two females off feed and I was thinking the same thing. Why can't they all go off for a month or two? Saves me money and time going to get them! I don't mind getting their food but it is nice to save a few bucks! LOL!!!

Off feed? What's that?, my are ravenous every week, and have been locking since Nov. I got one girl who is gravid and continues to eat weekly, so I just offer her smaller meals

I always think it would be nice having a break from feeding for a while, but when someone doesnt eat for a week even it's all I think about.
