    HTC/Verizon combo best for updates

    I think that this year you will see fewer updates on Android, but more devices will get each update. I hope so because fragmentation is Android's biggest enemy and last year they were losing to it.

    A large part of the infamous fragmentation is not Google/Android but carriers and manufacturers. There are a lot of handsets out there that can be updated but haven't, not because of the Android OS. Some, yes...but not all ;)

    Oh, the carriers have definitely dropped the ball quite a bit. I wish Google would step in and say "this is what's gonna happen".....I like the WP7 platform because updates will come from Microsoft and will hit every handset.
