    Where to get unprinted newspaper?
Where is a good place to get unprinted newspaper from for a substrate? Price is not really a big issue, but free is always the best option. The size of tubs I use are 28qt sterilite and I plan to use 41qt sterilite in the future. Thanks!

Call your local newspaper for the un-used ends of their rolls, or you can buy packing paper (same thing) at Home Depot or Lowe's. I buy the packing paper from Lowe's - it's more evenly cut.

Forgive my ignorance but, when using newspaper, do you crinkle it up or cut it into strips or just lie it flat in the bottom of the cage?

I've seen many different ways actually, most just lay it flat but some crinkle it up and others shred it...I just lay it flat.

It's about 140 sheets. I've purchased that before.

One sheet is fine. Some do more if it doesnt insulate the belly heat.
