Can't decide between a Leo or BP

I've done lots and lots of research on Leos and Ball Pythons. I've owned a BP in the past but I've never owned a Leopard Gecko. I plan on getting a new herp sometime before or after I graduate but I'm having a hard time deciding which to choose between a Leopard Gecko or Ball Python.

Could someone tell about their experiences owning a Leo and/or BP and which one you liked better? Thanks ^-^

Well the biggest thing for you to consider is food. Do you want to feed your animal once every 5-7 days or do you want to feed your animal many crickets or worms daily?

This is the biggest thing to consider, cause some people hate dealing with insects and would rather just have some mice or rats in the freezer to feed.

Personally i feel they are both easy with heat and humidity requirements. A Adult Leo would only need a 10 gallon tank, or you could easily keep them in the same rack as your ball pythons if you have a rack with 28-32 quart tubs.

With all the morph Leos and BP's you have a tough decision to make!

I have had leos in the past. They are very easy to care for, but do require more time then a ball. You could leave a ball for 4-5 days and not worry, but I wouldn't leave a leo for that time. If they end up with bad sheds, I think a leo is more difficult to help out then a bp.

Leos are really cute though, and hard to resist. Even the normal ones are pretty.

I think the biggest thing is if you plan on leaving it for any amount of time or not. If that's not an issue, I'd say go with the leo!
