    Snake bath/swim
I have read mixed opinions and was wondering if it is advisable to let my juvenile Mexican Black King snake swim in a tub at least once a week. Will this assist or harm the snake in any way?

    Cheers.

As long as the water is room temperature (and too cool is safer than too warm) it won't harm the snake.

It's unlikely to really benefit the snake unless there's stuck shed. But I do it sometimes when somebody's been really rolling in their own poo, or are just plain stinky. Most BPs aren't big fans of water. But it is pretty interesting to watch them swim.

The main thing to remember is not to have the water too deep as they could get tired and drown. I would keep the water depth at about midway on the snake. Just make sure you don't do it before a shed as that can make shedding harder and not easier for the snake.
