Ball Python Question

Yesterday at a reptile show i bought and took home a baby ball python not sure how old. When we brought her home yesterday she was moving around all day and being curious but since this morning (and it is 11 at night now) she has been sitting curled up in the corner the only time she moved was to go into her hide and shes been in there all day. I'm pretty sure this is normal and i now some arent very active but i just wanted to make sure. The only reason i was wondering was because yesterday she was so hyper all day. :)

The hyperness that you saw was stress from the move. In general, BP's are very very lazy. They love to find a hide, curl up and go to sleep. As such they make very poor display snakes in general. If she has curled up in her hide and can't be seen that would be a positive for your husbandry. Now give her a week to settle in and get used to the big scary heat signatures that are hovering around her home :O

What the others said is true. That activity you first saw was due to stress. Once it got comfortable with it's new surroundings, it went back to doing what BPs do best. You will probably notice more activity at night though. Enjoy!
