    Variflo Valve maintenance
What maintenance is involved with Variflo water valves? I guess I am curious as to how you know when to replace the pink o-ring or the pin for that matter? I've had a couple valves that I could not get to stop leaking and could not find any debris in them and was wondering if that means that something is worn out.

The O ring is the only thing that really wears out. I've got a bunch of them that leak too and should buy some replacements soon. You can tighten them down a little more and that will give you a little more time, but that only works for so long. I don't think you should ever need to replace the pin, however the plastic diaphragm might need replacing too, I don't know.
