    Qts is my math off?
Hey guys, so I have a few of the Sterilite #1894 tubs, seen here: http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProdu...=248&section=7

Now using the dimensions to get the volume then converting to quarts seems to yield 16qts but they seem considerably smaller than the Sterilite #1924 15 Qt. tubs that I am using.. What am I doing wrong here?

I would need the dimensions of both tubs.

Ok, the demensions are as follows:
    • 1894 - 14 1/4" L x 9 1/2" W x 6 7/8" H
    • 1924 - 16.375''L x 12.875"W x 6.500''H but is sold as Sterilite 15-quart

    Details here:
    1894
    1924

Those dimensions don't account for the sloping sides. To get an accurate volume you would have to take measurements of both the rim and the base.

I didn't do the math or anything, but having seen both tubs in question in person, the one with the green lid is MUCH smaller than the other one. :D
