I'm Confused!

Ok, So I am confused about the cinnamon morph. I get the basics but a regular cinnamon is actually a cinnamon pastel correct? Is a pewter what you get when you breed a cinnamon x pastel? And what would you get if you breed a pastel cinnamon x cinnamon. I think the names are messing me up. Hope someone can help! Thanks guys!

Cinnamons used to be called Cinnamon Pastels, the same as people call Black Pastels. Black Pastels are still Black Pastels but for the most part people have droped the Pastel from Cinnamons. There are still some that for some reason refuse to drop the Pastle part from the Cinnamon name.

A Cinnamon x Pastel will get you a Pewter
A Pastel Cinnamon x Cinnamon will get you a Pastel Super Cinnamon aka Silver Bullit
***of course these are the top outcomes of these pairings, as you will get more than just the Peweter or the Silver Bullit.

Thanks for clearing that up. I did the punnet and got the same thing. It's just the names that were messing me up, very confusing. Just call it a cinnamon!!!!:rage:

well what is confusing to me is BHB has some 2010 cinnamon pastels that dont look like regular cinnamons. they look a lil different.

Different lines of cinnamons can have a slightly different "look" to them, same as spiders, clowns, pastels or ghosts. That's probably the difference you're seeing.

Cinnamon pastel might have been because the morph acts like the pastel morph, i.e. a co-dom morph? That's the only thing I can think of, other than blushing?

You can be assured that Brians Cinnamon Pastels are very nice Cinnamons. :D

Usually a Cinnamon Pastel = Cinnamon where as a Pastel Cinnamon would be called a Pewter.
