I am having to clean my snake's enclosure just about every day it seems. He is very active at night and always pees. I am going to do complete clenaings today so he will probably poop now too!

oh ya! my big normal girl always does that. thats why i started doing a thorough cleaning only after she poo's. cuz everytime other i clean it she leaves me a nice surprise almost instantly. its like she telling me its her home and shes marking it or something. it could be worse, she could be backed up :rolleye2:

I checked all 40ish tubs last night and didn't have to clean a single one. But... I did have to scrub out a water bowl since I have a certain maniacal painter that likes to deuce in it. Nasty!!

I swear this little girl likes to find new places to crap every few days just to be a brat. Some time ago I found some smeared on the shelf above her tub...

I do think that sometimes they need to "re-scent" their enclosures once we've cleaned them, and defecating is one way to do so.

You're lucky you only had 3 to worry about - try cleaning 50+ and before you're done the first ones have already dirtied their enclosures.
