    Female Feeding
I've been feeding my beauty one mouse every 7 days. I was recently told that if I wanted to breed her when she reached three years of age, I need to feed her as much as she would eat in a feeding. Can someone please tell me if I should keep feeding the way I do or if I should feed her more so she is the correct weight for her age? My main concern is the health of my snake and so far I haven't had any issues healthwise. Any feedback or info would be greatly appreciated!

    Joelolly,

I feed my hatchlings every 3 days. When they reach about 300g I move them up to every 5 days for as long as they will feed that often then every 7. Some of my snakes prefer every 10 or so. All depends on the snake. I would get her over to rat pups as soon as you can. I generally offer rats first as they provide a bit more of a meal. You should not have any problems getting her up to size by 3 years barring that she doesnt shut down or become a on/off feeder. Good luck. Hope this helps you out.
