BP deep breathing

My brother rescued a 3 ft male. Hes extremely tame. Likes to be handled and perched up on your shoulder. When holding him you can almost hear him breath, and sometimes sounds like hes taking a deep breath.

Is there anything health-wise to worry???

I would say keep an eye on him and watch for any other signs of a problem. Is his nostrils clear and his vents? Also have you checked his mouth for mucus? Any sign of him blowing bubbles? If you have not noticed any signs of a respitory infection I would say just kick up the heat some and that should do it.
What are your currnet temps at on the hot and cool side now? Also what is the snake being housed in?

I checked him out earlier and didnt really notice any issues. NO Mucus, nostrils look good, Current temp on the warm side is high 80s, he tends to stay in the hide on that side. Bro doesnt hv temp gauge on the cool side but the snake has rarely goes to that side.

Housed in a 30 gallon tank, 2 hides(1 on each side) water dish in center, UTH and over head as well. Tank is located on center wall at his house.

He's probably fine. My black pastel whistles, and I have few other snakes that like to sigh in my ear. If there's no other signs of respiratory distress, it's just natural huffing and puffing.

As long as there are no other signs of Respiratory infection, it is fairly common for snakes to breathe deeply or kind of heavily when being handled. Especially if they are "hanging on"...

88-94 is perfectly fine for Ball pythons. Stating they MUST be 90+ is just inaccurate information

Well I apologize, didn't think I would get attacked. My bad. I did say "aimed" and said it was a "little thought" implying my opinion and aimed is a general word which can mean in the ranges of 89-92 which can be loosely translated to whatever crap you said. I did not say "90+" and my information is not innacurate since you said that they can be from 88-94 so my information is spot on actually, right in the middle of your information. "Inaccurate" would be saying, oh the warm side needs to be 88 and the cold side needs to be 75. Thanks for your flame though.
