    bp question
:snake:I cant decide wether I want to get a python or chameleon. I have a snake now so I know how to take care of snakes. i cant spend more than 150 on the snake itself. but I dont want a regular bp. i want something a little more exotic.
    thanks:snake:

The main thing you need to ask your self is wether or not you are able to devote the amount of time needed to care for a cham vs a snake. Do you like crickets? Are you going to keep them around your house in containers to gut load them before feeding them to your cham? Do you have the proper caging and lights? Chams require a much higher level of husbandry to keep them healthy. Do lots of research before you deciede. Initial purchase price will be the least of your expenses.

How many pets do you currently have, and are you planning on attending college? Keep in mind that most schools will not look kindly on the idea of bringing animals with you into the dorms, and that either you'll have to hide them (not fun/bad idea all around) or you'll have to leave them with your parents for them to take care of. It may be best to wait until you've truly got a place of your own just to avoid that problem, and then of course you can get whatever you can afford and care for.

A cham will take a lot more devotion in order to take care of it. I would go with another ball python if i were you.
Wait til you get your own place before you get something like a chameleon.
Just as Levi said, there are many morphs of bps that you can pick up for 150 $
