    Ever seen a Puzzle Ball?
There aren't very many of these running around, so I thought I would put up a pic of our new Super Pastel Puzzle.I have been eyeballing this project at Exotics by Nature for about 3 years now (since it's inception). And, as many others, I really wanted to get it in the collection. I finally broke down and got me one. What I ended up with is a Super Pastel Puzzle female. I love the heads on these guys. It has a very similar pattern to Tigers. Unfortunately, the pic is a little blurry, but it still captured the overall pattern of the head. I will get some better pics of her that are clearer in a few months once she puts some more weight on.

A bit more background on the project. It is a Recessive mutation and it was embedded in a pair of Pastels originally. Even though there have been 4 clutches produced to date, the Puzzle gene has still not been isolated yet. All of the Puzzles produced have either been Pastel or Super Pastel. Hopefully in the next couple years, Sean will figure out a bit more, and maybe even get a Puzzle Ball all by itself, to see what it looks like without the color influence of a Pastel and maybe even a slight pattern influence from the Pastel.

    Thanks for looking,

Tim, you know how you always ask me "what snakes do you think you guys would like to see?" when you're preparing to come to one of our Birmingham get togethers?
