I got a whale for Christmas, what did you get?

Yup, my son adopted a Humpback whale for me! Her name is Tornado, she was born in '88 and I have a picture of her fluke. It may just be the neatest gift I've ever gotten. I love my new little whale :)

Is that kind of like getting a Star from the Star Registry? How does it work?

Yes, like buying a star or adopting a sea turtle. It's The Whale Center of New England, www.whalecenter.org

That's so neat! I've always wanted to adopt an animal for someone, but wasn't sure if anyone but me would appreciate that! :P Glad to see someone did. :)
