Lazy male or female just not ready yet
So this year I'm breeding a total of 9 females. They've been in cooling since November 1st. December 1st I started putting my boys with my girls and most have locked multiple times with 1 locking up once and 1 locking up Never. It's my spider male who hasn't even gone near the 2 girls I've placed him with. He produced a great clutch of spiders last year to a different female. And I know all the girls are girls. Only reason I'm confused is last year he was a stud. Locked up anytime he was with the girl. This year it's like he's being shy. My pastel male who is the one thats locked 1 time stays with the girl but after that first lock they've just been all intertwined hanging out together. I think is possible that ive missed a couple locks with them. So my questions is: are there any little tricks to get males interested or am I just being a little amped up bc of last year taking off like a rocket? Btw I've been keeping them on 3 days and taking them off 3 to feed sml meals into a totally separate rack. Only the males that have taken the sml meals have been the ones raring to go. Any advice would be appreciated. Thx
