My Pet Rats

So I've accumulated three pet rats that get to stay upstairs, and I have a blue dumbo sitting down there just begging me to bring him upstairs :rolleyes: Curse this soft heart of mine!

Anyhow, here's Chaka and Enzo-the cat. Enzo is a class A killer, but he's good with rats, as are the other kitties, because I taught them that rats are my toys not theirs. Now when it comes to mice or ASFs, they are gone before you even see Enzo walk into the room.

Sorry I'm bored :) I'm a sad sad soul sitting at home on the computer with all the critters on Christmas Eve, lol.

MISS my rats alot just got too hard dealing with cancer in the last group I had so probably won't have rats for a long time.
And that sounded like a nice christmas eve actually :)

When I had my first pet rat as a kid my parents' cat would climb in the cage and groom her. It was the cutest thing to see.

I love rats as pets! I had 3 at one time but they have since passed on-too many animals now to get any more but will when I can. :)
