    Just a couple morph questions
What + what would give me the highest chance of getting a blue eyed lucy? I know fire + fire would give me a black eyed lucy.

Is a Super Cinnamon the closest you can get to have an all black bp?

and lastly what morphs might i get with normal + normal? Would i only get albinos and normals?

I'm just wondering because I'm thinking of dipping my toes in breeding and I also don't want to spend 2K for a lucy. It's just way too much for me.

To get a BEL you can cross a mojave x mojave or lesser x lesser or lesser x mojave

A super cinny is an all dark snake but the super cinny is browner than it is black, if you want a blacker snake then a super black pastel is the way to go.

If you breed normal x normal...you'll get all normals. In order to get an albino both parents need to be carrying the albino gene aka 'het albino'

Mojave x Mojave sounds good. what do you think the percentage of a BEL would be?
that super black pastel looks amazing and the het albino make a lot of sense. lol

A good website for genetics is http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard/

and a mojave x mojave is:
    25% normals
    50% mojaves
    25% BEL

I've heard that a Lesser x Lesser BEL is a cleaner more white snake, but I've never seen the difference in person so idk..

hee, yeah, normals only produce normals, though if you have two hets for any recessive gene, you have 25% chance of producing whatever they are both het for. You do have to have the same recessive genes though a het ghost and het albino can theoretically produce: het ghosts, het albinos and double het albino/ghost. Which is pretty awesome on its own, but VERY complicated to prove out any of them! People usually stick to pair of hets for the same genes. A 100% het pied can be bred to a possible het and if they produce pieds, the 50% or 66% het will be proven as a 100% het pied, since they obviously carry the gene if they can produce a pied. Genetics are fun!!

Keep in mind that the % is per egg, not clutch (if I remember right) Kind if like playing the slots:O
