What kind of little mouse is this?
Well, I spared this little girl's life. She was going to be snake food, but she wasn't the normal white mice with red eyes that I get. And she appears to be pregnant....we'll see.....
So what I was wondering is what kind of mouse is she?? She has dark points like a siamese, but her body definitely isn't light colored. I found something about sable siamese, but her points aren't that dark.
And I'm sorry about the pictures. They aren't the greatest at all....(my sweatshirt is actually REALLY green, so you get an idea of how off the colors are...)

***well, I'm having trouble uploading pictures onto photobucket right now. It's raining here and my internet connection has been terrible.***I will try to get pictures posted as soon as I can***

Not being able to see the picture its tough to guess, but strong points on a siamese are the product of strong breeding. There are a lot of garbage siamese animals on the market that are indeed siamese but just a low quality animal.

Yeah, I was thinking she's possibly just a low quality siamese....but she's not the very light cream color.
Well, I was able to get the pictures uploaded and posted....but looking at the pictures now, she looks a bit different in person. You can see the points a lot better in person.

Haha, yep, it was a $1 feeder mouse....but I got home and I thought it was cool looking. So it now has a temporary home. But the little (not sure if I'm allowed to say it on here, but it starts with a B and ends with a D) bit me. So as soon as she's done raising babies, she's snake or tegu food.

Probably Burmese. Possibly colourpoint beige, though it looks too dark, so probably Burmese.

    Definitely -not- Siamese. :P

I have absolutely no idea what a Burmese or colourpoint beige mouse is.....this is the first mouse I've ever kept. Do you have any pictures of both? And why is it not a Siamese?
Just trying to learn as much as I can. I have a lot of fun breeding rats (still learning the different colors on them too). I'm sure I'd have fun breeding mice too.

Could be a very light Burmese, or a CPB

    aa c(e) c(h) is CPB
    aa c(ch) c(h) is Burmese

A Siamese would be aa c(h) c(h), then he would have red/ruby eyes.
And the color would be much brighter.

Here is a picture of a siamese und colourpointed beige together:

    Burmese (much darker):

Looking at those pictures, it looks just like the colorpointed beige. I'll try to get better pictures of mine.....but seeing those pictures and seeing mine in person...I'm going to say it's a colorpointed beige.
