    My male fire arrived!
Finally he got here and he looks great! Pictures just don't seem to capture how bright fires are in person either! He's from Mike Wilbanks :gj:

128g of fierce "I'll nom on your fingers" if you keep touching me:

I'm not really familiar with the "Fire" Morph. What exactly makes this fire different from a normal?
    He looks real good though:gj:

If you see them in person, you'll notice that fires have a very light coloration, flames around the sides (usually), AND they are also the heterozygous form of a trait that is a BLACK eyed leucistic (often with some yellow discoloration) in the homozygous form.

They make for a great addition to combo morphs, and really cause colors to pop. Fireflies (pastel fire) are a great example, just compare them to regular pastels and you'll see what I mean about colors being more well defined.

Mainbutter stated some good points. Fires also tend to have funky head patterns (but a funky head pattern doesn't make a fire). My guy also has green eyes.

In person you can really tell something is different about him, he just glows :D
These pics do not do his coloration justice at all

Trust me, he was very serious about mauling my hands! Bit me after I unbagged him and while I was inspecting him he kept trying to get me lol

Exactly, in person this guy is as light as the last photo and the golden dorsal + ocular stripes are a super bright glowing sort of cream. It's crazy looking!

After he comes out of quarantine I'll have to get some comparison shots next to my 250g+ normal female
