    I haven't heard anything good or bad about it so im no help there sorry. I have always used ranco thermostats they aren't to expensive.

    i use a alife and it works pretty good, i used it for a DIY incubator worked great hatched my loes, i use it for my bp right now and it works good sensitive to dial in but once you get it its really nuthin

    I think they are the same manufacter they seem to have identical specs. I have an zilla here it is painfully inaccurate. It also wanders a bit ok today off tomorrow with out change. I have just plugged mine it and it is reading 90 but the inside of the tub (empty) tub I placed over it is 98º and the probe is touching the heat cable so it should really be less than where the dial is set. Save the 30$ and spend 100 on a helix or herpstat and not spend you time mucking about with a zilla.

    Oh the case of the one I have is stamped newtek on the back if that helps...
