Id put him at the least to a normal and a Cinny. The normal to possibly make more and the Cinny to maybe prove him with a super?

I would say a yellow belly and a couple normals. Unless you have lots of waiting ladies, then maybe some things like a spider pinstripe Enchi fire.

i always tell people yellow belly and mojave. they both seem to be keystones for unlocking other morphs.

I second others' comments -- if possible, I'd breed him to a YB, mojave and cinnamon ... His pattern reminds me of a mojo, belly reminds me of a YB, but he's kind of got a bit of a cinny "look" to him. Really neat snake!

Re-reading your original post, is this guy CB? If so, what breeding produced him?

Thanks for all the responses, I have a female mojave who will be up to weight by the end of next season so that will be in the pipe line.

He is CB and was sold as a Cinny to start with but he's breeder is unknown and so is his origin, It was sourced from a friend of mine who got it from another guy with a few others and then a another friend of mine got him in a trade then put him up for sale so I bought him.

But we do know he is def a Cinnamon but looks to have a twist :)

Definitely at least another cinny. Who knows what kind of supers he could produce ;)

    Hmm, interesting.

It's too bad you can't trace the source to the breeder to find out if he was born that dark, or if he underwent a color change at some point. To me, he doesn't really have that Dirty Joe/IMG/"presto-chango snake" look to him, but I've seen it happen with my own animals enough times now to question if there's a metabolic (and not genetic) cause whenever I see an especially light or dark animal.

Otherwise if you don't get something neat in the first generation, I would think your best bet would be to breed back his female offspring to him to see if it could potentially be a recessive hypermelanism overlaying the cinnamon trait. He does kinda remind me a bit of this type of hypermel, though, which evidently hasn't proven genetic:

    Doesn't hurt to try, though!

Normal and a mojave. I want to see if he's genetic, and I want to see how he plays with a mojo--if there's sable in there, for example, it'll pop out with the mojave.
