Shedding Help, complete disaster?
This will be my ball pythons 2nd shed with me. The first was a complete 100 % shed, all with the help of my humid hide i put in there.
Here is now the problem this time around.
On wednesday just gone i picked up my bp for a short hold as he ate on monday, i noticed he was in blue (i actually didnt see any browning or pink belly this time around) so i put him straight back and put in his humid hide.
Reason for the hide is the nomal humidy is around 50%, obviously not enough for the shedding process. Problem is he has not gone near the humid hide this time around, and my efforts to keep the humidity up in my glass cage has not gone to well.
I am worried that it is not humid enough for him to shed and its now 100 % stuck!
So just to recap, he was in blue on wednesday and still no shed.
Is it possible he will shed still, last time around he shed about two days after the blue.?
I have no idea why he hasnt used the humid hide this time around.
Do i leave him a few more days to see if he will eventually go in and shed, bath him or something else that i havnt thought of?
Any advice, ideas, thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

Well i do not belive it, literally after writing this post i went into my bedroom and i noticed henry's head sticking out, he then come out further and he was shedding, has the old skin past his head:D he then went back in to the hide and i watched the shed, seemed like a good one at that to my suprise!
I will check tomorrow if he got all the shed off.
Maybe he was making secret visits to the humid hide after all:banana:
What a coincedence, my snake is telepathic.
Thanks for your help.
Relieved and happy
