    Car Stereo Help...
A couple of weeks ago my battery went dead, so I replaced it, and ever since then I can't pick up any radio stations. The CD player, balance, fade, and EQ all work fine, it's just when I select "Radio", all I get is static. It's a stock Rockford Fosgate system. I've never taken it out or messed with the wiring, but it's almost like the antenna is not connected. I'm just hoping there might be a simple solution before I start tearing into the dash and quarter panel tracing wires and connections, so if anybody has any tips or suggestions, I would appreciate it...

Im sure you already tried to google it. I couldnt find anything, sorry.
Have you already tried to remove the radio fuse and memory fuse to kill just the stereo?
Then try to reset it all over again.
Never seen that happen to any stereo unless the tuner went out.

i had something like that happen b4 with my radio except i had no sound on any setting, but what i ended up having to do was take the fuse out of the back of the radio for a few mins to reset it and put it back in. have yet to have any problems with it since.

Well, it got dark and started raining before I could get much into it, so I have my project for tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be sure to check that stuff first...

I used to install car audio systems. But thats the first i heard of a radio turning on and no output.

Be sure antenna isnt got any cuts and or loose wires touching it. And be sure the antenna is plugged into radio all the way. Could try buying an antenna to rule out the stock one. IF new one works your problem resides with the stock antenna. If it still dont work, i would say something within the radio isnt accepting the radio wave signals from antenna.
