    ahh the power is out
Alright well atleast I can post with my phone. Power went out a few hours ago and scarlett now has no heat. Her tank is holding a steady 70 witch is a bitt on the cool side. Anyway I put a couple if hothands ( the things you put in you gloves to keep yoir fingers warm) on top of her hide. The hide is stable around 82. I would tale her out and keep her warm with my bodyheat but she is mid shed. What do you guys thin(?

    Scary thing to have happen.

I think you did the right thing with the little handwarmers. I myself have some decent size 18 hour heat packs in case of emergency right now. But I am in the process of ordering some great big 60 hour shipping packs from the internet, because we've had power go out for as long as a week before.:O

I have an overstock of the 8 hour handwarmers I am an avid hunter and fisherman. They work in a pinch. I would ony bother ordering the big ones if I had cold weather powee outages more often
