    UTH question
Has anyone ever had this problem.
Two identical UTHs, both plugged into same rheostat and reading 5 to 7 degrees different!!!
    It is driving me crazy.

Sam exact tanks as well, everything is identical except temps.

Yuup! And i just went out today, bought a new piece of flexwatt long enough so two tubs can sit on it and now my temps are within 1 degree.

Switch to tubs if you can, soo much easier to control temps!! Heats up easier and doesn't cool off as fast.

    Keep your glass tanks.

UTH's...AND even Flexwatt vary in temps. It's not a big deal, just set each UTH individually.

Thanks but no, its not a tub vs tank problem.
Dont like tubs, looks or amount of room for them to roam.
2 uth on one rheostat with different temps.

Well the UTH's can vary a lot by each model and design. I know that my flex-watt can vary 3-4 degrees even hooked up to the same thermostat.

I would switch over to tubs to help regulate the temperature and humidity. I don't understand why glass tanks are so appealing as they are probably the worst enclosure for a ball python. There's no security and controlling humidity and temperatures are a pain.

Guess I will be going and getting another rheostat in the morning and have them on separate units.
    No big deal.
I am not going to get in to the tub vs tank debate, it is all about the well being and proper care of the animal.;)
