Oh is that the beardie you rescued? Didn't you say he had something wrong with his front legs? How are his legs doing? He looks happy! Just as you said pure contentment, hopefully for the both of you.

Yes, both the front legs are twisted inwards. However, she seems to get around just fine and is eating like a pig. We have already noticed a slight weight gain, in just 2 days of eating healthy. I think she suffered from MBD earlier in her life. Her bones now seem to be strong. We have fallen in love with her already. She has so much personality.

She does look purple right now, I was told that it is due to the fact the previous non-owner kept her on purple vita-sand. I believe she is going to be citrus color after she sheds.

I figured that pruple was due to some sort of dyed sand. And since she is full grown, that is about as bright as she's gonna get, unless she's currently in shed. IF you want to bring out her true potential, then I suggest placing her in direct sunlight for about 30 minutes a day. This helps brings out everything, increases appetite, and just makes them so much healthier. Anyway, congrats on the rescue, I hope she enjoys her life much more now.

yup theres nothing better than the sun. but saying thats as bright as she is gunna get is silly, COME ON she just got rescued and needs to fatten WAY UP. when shes fat she'll shed and we will see her true colors. should be very cool. I would love some follow up pics in about a month or 2. good luck
