    rosy boa breeding questions
    i got a female mexican rosy boa over the weekend & was blown away. i want to breed them in the future & need some questions answered by other rosy owners. do they need to be a certain weight like ball pythons? any & all advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

    Usually Rosy's need to be about 3 yrs old for females, males can breed at a surprisingly young age. I've heard of a male Rosy breeding at 9 mos. But, Rosy's, not always, sometimes turn a tad bit cannibalistic during mating. It's the exception, not the rule. I have a 9yo Rosy, never bred her. I'm sure if I did, there would be blood. I think she is bipolar.
