    Aquatic beardie?
So I gave my beardie Isis a bath today for the first time in our new apartment. Our old apartment just had a shower stall in it so Isis is used to it "raining" but had never been in an actual bath tub like we have here. Well, today I figured I'd just give her a bath since the shower head here is erratic and sprays water everywhere. Well, the bath tub filled a little more than I thought... It didn't cover her head and barely come up her back and she had no problem walking in it so I left it. All of a sudden after testing that she could walk and drinking some, she started full blown swimming! Just like the gators and crocs I've seen at the zoo and the cayman I've seen at a pet store [they're on display, not for sale], using her tail to propel herself. I can tell it's not her walking because her nails would make a sound on the tub when she was walking. I was cracking up! I have an aquatic arboreal desert lizard. I got a couple videos of her in the water. She was too cute when first testing the new tub. Anyone else have their beardie go for a swim?

Isis cracks me up. She used to be afraid of the water. At the old apartment, we'd occassionally fill the sink with warm water when we were waiting for the water in the shower to warm up and she'd try to run and get away from the water. Then she'd get in the shower and would only get under the water/around the pooling water to get a drink and then she was done and wanted out. I put her in the water here and she didn't want to get out! Every time I'd reach over to get her out, she'd swim away! haha

I'm with ya, I might have to start giving her more baths just to watch her take a swim...
