so i take the lid off my spiders enclosure lift her hid and she is curled up laying dead like .. and what i mean by that is, no tension in the "neck area" just real lose, so i went to move her and she didnt move at all..well i picked her up and was looking her over and she started moving and tounge flickering... so freaking out i think she is dehydrated or something worse, so i put her in a container with alil water and she didnt drink anything but she seems to look ok.. could it be she was in a deep sleep or something.. i didnt think to take a pic b4 i moved her.. anyways anyhelp would be nice.. thanks

They do sometimes sleep very soundly. I have one that sometimes sleeps with his head tilted on its side, and he's VERY asleep when he does that. Freaked me out a bit the first time I saw it because I'd never seen one lay that way.

Does she have access to fresh water at all times? If so, then there is no reason to believe she is dehydrated.

I dont see a problem with changing the water frequently.. if anything it would help to prevent bacteria from growing in the bowl. She doesn't have any other symptoms you noticed, anything off about her in the past week or so?

I hope your little one is alright keep us posted

Then ( though I am very new to this) it seems like your girl is just fine and keeping an eye on her will probably reassure you the best.

You said this was a spider... have you ever read anything about head wobble in that morph? Mine gets himself into some really weird positions sometimes...
