    What's wrong with her eye????
I'm worried Cleo has a stuck eyecap. :( What the heck is this on her eye???
For comparison, the last photo is her other eye, the good one.
She has this weird blue/white thing covering the corner of her eye. It wasn't there until recently, like her last shed. :/

It's normal...happens after a shed sometimes. It'll probably go away with the next shed.

Looks like it may be a stuck eye cap. You can try a quick soak, or let her crawl around in a wet towel for a few minutes, or just wait until the next shed...

    Hi,

The problem is it might not be a retained eyecap.

At which point trying to remove it is one of the worst ideas there is.

This is why I check shed skins to make sure they have the spectacles attatched.

There is a membrane between the scales including the one over the eye. In a retained eyecap the torn edges of that can sometimes be seen sticking out. BUT sometimes when the snake is shedding perfectly the membrane between the new spectacle and the new skin can be partially pulled out as the old skin above it breaks free.

From those pictures there is simply no way to tell which situation it is so it is better to do nothing as the alternative is you just ripped the protective spectacle off the eye leaving it open to drying out, abrasions and infections.

It's hard to see from the pics but if it looks like this it will go away with the next shed:

Please excuse the gloves. I had received that snake in like that and I too didn't know what it was and wore the gloves just in case she was sick or something.
