    Quick Genetics/Breeding Question
I'm a little confused and I'm hoping you guys could clear this up for me.

Say I have a female homozygous albino and a male homozygous granite. If I breed them am I going to get homozygous albino granite or will I have normal looking 100% het albino granite? I am using the genetics calculator I found on here but I think I'm just further confusing myself.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

What are the genetics of the granite?

If it is co-dom or dom then you would get granites 100% het albino.

If it was a reccessive granite you would get normal looking snakes 100% het for both albino and granite.

I don't know the genetics of the granite. The breeder says it's a possible get for albino. It's granite though.

assuming your talking about burmese pythons if one is granite and the other is albino you will get all 100% het albino granite normal looking babies, the granite and albino genes are rececive.
