"pictures don't do him/her justice!" ...so annoying
is it just me or do you get annoyed by gimmick/cliche advertisements of snakes?

XD I appreciate if someone admits their camera sucks, OR says, "This photo is bleaching his colors" etc. Because my camera usually takes off photos of my snakes, though it just as often makes them look brighter as well as greyer and less colorful, ha ha... But sometimes, if someone has lukewarm looking photos, I want to just smack them and tell them to get a better camera or just admit it isn't that great of a picture/snake/lighting situation...

Moved this out of the Picture forum, since that's for posting pictures. ;)

No - it doesn't bother me at all, because in many many cases, pictures really don't do the animals justice.

I think it is common knowledge that a picture is not going to look the same as in real-life

Not at all because like stated by Rabernet , 9 times out of 10 does not do the animal any justice.

    This.

My albino and my pastel are the worst to take pictures of... I guess yellow-ish snakes are just hard to shoot. :)

    To a degree it does.

I mean, if you know what a given animal should look like, say an albino, and the seller says the pictures doesn't do it justice because instead of white and yellow the snake looks grey and greenish, yeah I understand.

But someone trying to sell a subtle morph like a fire, or one I'm not familiar with, then tell me the snake is worth their price because of bad pictures? Then I think, so buy a better camera!
