Finally cool side 83 warm side 90 humidity 56% and s/he is willing to go to the cool side and lay on top of the hide over there.
What I ended up doing:
Covering 3 sides of the tank with black foam board
bigger water dish ( using a 3 cup glass dish)
aluminum foiled the entire top of the tank except for a 2" circle for vent and circle for the CHE ( which we still need for it to be warm enough)
covered the lid with a sheet of plexiglas about 60% of the lid is covered
I feel soo much better about the tank now that s/he is moving around and the temps and humidity are better. Thanks for all the hand holding all :)
