What the heck is this feeding behaviour?
I have a pastel girl that to date will only eat live rats or mice whatever I could get at the time. My breeder rats finally started producing so they will all be getting rats. So I threw one in for Pastella, and she normally takes about two minutes to show interest in her stalking. She has always loved stalking for at least 5 min she will slowly following it around, before devouring it. Well I put her chub in this morning and she instantly started rolling her body and slamming it into the side of her tub. She is still bumping it around and when it gets away from the side of the tub she will either smack it with her tail or roll her body and smash it against the side. What the heck is she trying to tell me? I've never seen this from any of my past snakes.

Crazy! Mine will occasionally mash a rodent against a wall if they don't completely wrap it, but they usually kill it pretty soon after. Wish I could help more. Have you tried a different rodent? Maybe wait a few days before offering another?
