    Changing snake's name to Waldo.
I just finished putting together my snake's new habitat. He's been in one of his hides pretty much the whole time as he gets used to the new environment. Yesterday morning I was checking up on him and didn't see him in either hide. I quickly scanned the cage, wondering if I had maybe left some escape hole opened up, but everything looked fine. I bent down a bit and looked up, and there he was, wedged into the space between the cage top and the background. Cracked me up.

    There you are, Waldo!

Just like a cat give it a great toy, and it plays with the box.

I don't think we have to explain every silly thing they do in terms of husbandry. Humidity could very well be an issue, but I bet he's actually doing it because it's fun.

That's funny. My youngsters like to squish themselves in the space between the top of the hide and the shelf. I go to pull out the tub and think, why the heck is the not wanting to pull out?! Silly things.
