Looks more cinny than black pastel to me.

Yes, don't worry, it's black pastel. It's not the darkest example I've ever seen, and I guess it could be a very dark cinnamon... but it's definitely one of those two morphs. And I'm leaning towards black pastel rather than cinnamon, even ignoring that it was supposed to be one.

    (Definitely NOT a normal, anyway.)

I'd say black pastel.. just not the best example.

Some of the Liesen-line black pastels I've seen are the most obvious. But most black pastels are pretty subtle:

First one is my female. Second one is my male (courting my pied). He's doesn't have the black-lace look my female does, but he's got the nice black back.

I think they're both pretty nice examples! But frankly, when I take them out in public, most people never give them a second look.... Except that once in a while someone will say that they look "a bit menacing". (Which is ridiculous--Octavia is sugar sweet, and George is big, dumb, and goofy.)

Excelent, thank you so much for the info and for the greeting for my new Black Pastel!

I'm planning in getting him together with one of my normals in some years!
