Ever had a well established F/T eater revert back to live only?
I thought my pastel was just on a winter fast in general until I decided to try out a live rat last week...she went after it without hesitation. Tried offering a F/T tonight (which she has been eating for over 6 months) and turned her nose up at it.

...ugh, i really dont want to have to go back to feeding her live every week (mainly because of cost/inconvenience to get) but i dont feel like waiting around either while she could be putting on weight.

    Any similar experiences?

My male was pounding f/t rats and then one day he just stopped, he didn't eat for a few months and now all he will eat is live ASFs and mice and nothing bigger than his head. I don't mind it too much though cause I breed ASF's so I have a good supply

Yep my old pastel and my current normal were both on f/t since about 2 months of age. Took food like crazy, then they slowed down. So,etimes every other week. Switched to live and boom back eating like they never been fed.
Switched all to live now that I have a breeder and they all eat no problems. Problems with f/t is that if it's not heated correctly or to your pythons wants they won't eat it.
