    how old is she?
    i got her at a reptile shop in the mall and the owner was out at the moment and i asked how old she was and they said they werent sure. somewhere between 4 and 6 months. im curious how old u guys think she is so i know what to feed her:confused:

    No way to know.. feed her something about 1.5X the size of the biggest part of her body is a pretty good rule of thumb.

    Even with a picture...no one is going to be able to pin down a guess more accurate than the information you've already been given. They don't have special teeth to count or other physical indicators that tell exactly how long they've been out of the egg. Best thing someone can say is, "That's a hatchling that hasn't even had its first shed yet"....or "Yeah, its most likely a few months old."

    I'm confused....I thought your mother was resistant about adding new animals after she said yes to the last 2? Has she changed her mind?

    kinda.i had to beg... but i can keep them at my sisters. i have been talking to my mom about how i feel on certin subject so she is letting up a lil.

    OK. I hope you're able to get over there more than once a month this winter. Make sure your sister understands how important quarantine is, so that these new kiddos aren't kept anywhere near your existing ones. Good luck! :)

    and i paid for imari my self. it took me a while to save up the money and all i had was boys and my boa girl soon so i talked her into letting me get a girl so i have a pair. she is now saying when i get money i can spend it on whatever i want. and i wanted a girl since i didnt have a girl bp yet

    yep. im going throgh all that atm. she is doing very well. i just gotta feed her:oops: they said she is due to eat but didnt tell me the size to give her.

    At 4-6, my BP was eating fuzzy mice and could probably handle weanlings.

    At the same time, it varies from snake to snake and the width is really what to go off. The other method is weigh the snake and go by the percentage rule(10-15% of the snakes weight is the last I heard)
