    Shipping question...(never shipped before)
I have a good family friend that has a lucy and she lives in Naples FL. Her and her BF just broke up and she is moving in with a friend for the time being and can not keep her lucy. He is around 4 ft and she has had him since a baby and doesnt want to loose him to her ex bf. She knows ill take great care of him until she decides on if she is moving back to st. louis or not. What is the best way to go about shipping? Who is the best company to go through? Best way to make sure he is transported ok? I have never gone bout transporting at all....

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

FedEx is your only shipping option right now...She will need to get certified to ship reptiles through them though.

What do you have to do to get certified? Could she maybe go through a local reptile shop? Any idea on cost?

Certification can take upto a couple weeks. Her best bet would be to find a reptile breeder around her that would be willing to ship it for her

This would be her only real option. The other option is to get certified (3 weeks or so)

Im sure a breeder would not mind doing it for a small fee..

That's an awesome idea. I may actually start offering that. (Local only, of course).
