Water temp for a boa to swim in?
What temperature would be most comfortable for a baby boa to swim in? I thought I would let my little baby boa swim while I clean his tub. Any thoughts?

Tepid or luke warm water is best.

I'd go with luke warm, just about the temperature of your skin, maybe a touch warmer, because it'll cool off slower, so you can keep him in there a bit longer.

what i do for gizmo (My beardie) is let the water run on my wrist until its a neutral luke warm not too hot but not ice cold! im guessing its probably around 70 or 75 but im not sure

Just be aware that your hand's temp influences how the water feels. If you have freezing hands like me, then everything feels warm.

I give my "baths" a quick temp gun check before plopping my snake in just in case. It might be a bit overkill but it works for me!

My anaconda likes the water around 86-90*. I have a heat mat under his water to keep it warm at all times.

I vote for anything around ambient temp, that way it's not to cold than they are used to and not to hot and have no where to escape.

I use my heat gun to gun the water in the bath tub for soaking my beardie. It's like 90-95 in the "deep" end and 80-85 in the "shallow" beached end (he normally chills here).
