    back heat or bottom heat?
    im planning a rack. and want to know whats "better" back heat or bottom heat?

    For ball pythons IMO belly heat is better.
    It provides more ambient heat to the tub and provides a hot spot for the snake to lay on after eating.

    and another thing... can i wire 2 flexwatt strips into 1 plug or should every strip of lexwat have its own individual 2 prong plug?

    Pythons and most boas to best with belly heat.

    As for colubrids back heat or room temp is what i prefer.

    you can wire them to one plug if needed.

    I prefer each shelf having their own plug, so when not in use your not wasting electricity.
