pied x axn het pied vs. axn het pied x axn het pied? i guess that depends on what you hope to get, anyone?

I would do the pied x axn het pied. This way you would get pieds 100% het axn and dont have to deal with possible hets from the offspring. Anything that wasnt pied would be double het.

I would do the second one. I could deal with possible hets as long as I hit at least one axanthic pied.

If I did this paring, and would want to make an axn pied, I will have to pray for a pied het axn offspring and breed back to the original axn het pied. And what odds I am looking at to get an axn pied?

Big Gunns would move outta Singapore if he was you. As far as BG saw when he looked into it. You can't keep them there.:colbert:
BG does love the tiny leeetle country though.:gj: Can't wait to go to the new casinos(not to gamble) and swim in that roof top pool. It looks awesome, and it will make a great Big Gunns pic.:D

I think its an obvious choice, axanthic het pied x axanthic het pied. this leaves with a 1/4 chance of hitting the axanthic pied and the rest would all be axanthic poss hets. your always making a homozygous animal with the chance of a double homozygous (which i'm assuming is your goal)
pied x axanthic het pied yields you at best to make a pied het axanthic. which is a homozygous hetrozygous and you only make that 50% of the time.
