Is a 75gal tank to big?
I have a 75gal tank i can use for my bp. He's a 5yr old male, about 4' long currently in a 40gal breeder. Is a 75gal tank to much or do you think he will enjoy the extra space? He is pretty active at night and i thought the extra space to stretch out might be nice. Thanks for any imput!

i would say that is way too big. some may disagree, but any time i put mine in something larger than a 41qt tub they roam constantly which is generally a sign of stress. I would think the 40 gal. is plenty room for him.

Hmmm... I think it may be too big. A 55 gallon might be a better choice but a 75 seems like a lot of room for one adult ball python.
Unless you stock it well with hides, that could work I suppose.
Do you have a weight in grams of him?

Honestly I dont know his weight. I've had him for a year, he was a rescue. Maybe i should get a scale.

Well if you have a picture that would help :) A 40 gallon is plenty of room, and a 55 gallon might even be pushing it.

I always just go to tinypic.com
Then click upload and you'll have to type in the code you see
Then it'll go to a page that says Share This Image, and you copy the code thats underneath this...
IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards

Then just copy and paste it here!
I don't know how to do it any other way :P
