Serious shedding problem!!
My poor BP is having no luck getting her skin off... the dead skin is all shredded up around her head and has been that way for a day now.... what can I do to help her without harming?

What is your humidity at and what are you using to measure it?

That was what I did, mine had a bad shed last night so I filled a large enough bowl with lukewarm water and over the course of 30 mins I gave her a bath/massage and all the shed came off just fine. She then ate 2 mice :)

ive discovered that covering the screen top with a towel or foil (foil works better but my cat wants to attack it..) keeps the humidity in! i had this issue too. still have to mist a couple times a day but its a lot better than being disappointed and misting every time i walk by
Re: Serious shedding problem!!
one of my rosys shed last night... because they require such low humididty here is what i do... take a smaller tupperware or critter keeper... some thing with air holes in it, and line the bottom with warm paper towels or wash rags or hand towels or what ever. put a hide in the tub and then put soem crumpled up paper towels or a fairly wet spnge or something in there for her to rub up against. leave her in there for a few hours and check. i left mine in there over night because she wasnt done before i went to bed, and this morning it all came off in one piece. remove her right when you see she is done. and also make sure that you have a heat source for her... as the wet towels will get mighty cold. this has workd EVERY time for me as it is much easier to maintain humidity in a much smaller container. let me know if it works!
