    Major brown out after shed??
So my pastel female just had her first shed since she layed her eggs back in July. She MAJORLY browned out and it's kind of disappointing. I mean, she wasn't super yellow to begin with due to her size/age but, she was still pretty darn light (our local herp vet said she looked really good for a pastel of that size).

Is there any chance that she would lighten up after her next one since she did not shed for so long, or is that just going to be a permanent color change?

Happens to most pastels as they age and shed.

She might lighten up a bit over time...hormonal changes (especially in females) can cause some color shifts. But the browning-out of pastels is very common to them and just a part of owning them.

Thanks for the responses guys. It was just so sudden. It was like, one day she was normal and the next she looked almost normal. I was like wow, holy different snake, Batman! Crazy stuff.
