    Nat Geo.. a little dramatic?
this one isnt too "touchy" they arent talking about snake ownership or anything but i was watching this on tv and was able to find it online.. and i just couldnt help but think hes just a liiiittle dramatic haha

ok ive never been bit by a retic and i dont want to be but i do know for a fact if i am ever bitten by one and im filming a national geographic show and millions of people will see it i would act slightly less like a baby.. and it doesnt say on here but the retic turned out to be about 11 ft a big snake but by far not the biggest lol

oh and hes supposedly a world renowned herpetologist so pay attention to how scared he is before he even touches it.. i mean.. its his profession lol

He's probably scared because the director just said "Hey, get in there and get bit, could you?"
He's not afraid of the python bite, he's afraid of the nasty sewage he's standing in getting into the open wounds. Yeah, looking at it again, this is probably the most danger his life has been in--it's bunch of deep slashes that occurred in pretty much the worst conditions possible for such a thing, he really could die of a massive infection, medical care there isn't fantastic.

Funny I knew exactly who you were talking about before even clicking the link. Brady Barr's always been a wuss when it comes to snakes. No news there.

uuh im sorry but am i really the only one that can see why this would be scary? lol

He's in a dark cave, waist deep in muddy water so you cant see whats in there, and he's being attack by a wild retic..... im sure if anyone on this planet was in the same position as this guy they wouldnt be very calm lol

Having been bit by a retic somewhere around the same size (except a much fatter snake), a retic bite is painful. My bite was a bite. clamp and chew type.

My bite wasn't in a dark cave filled with muddy water. I've never thought this guy was a real hero, but I'm not sure I wouldn't have reacted in the same way.

Pretty dramatic. I mean come on, he is a herpetologist. Buck up a little and take some initiative. He basically had his sidekick do all the work while he screamed and tried to grab the head. There are alot of reptile keepers in our hobby that would put him to shame.
