    Lump.......should I be worried
Just got an yearling albino from a breeder in Seattle. Got her home and noticed a small lump in her throat on the right side. It looks like she swallowed a pea. Should I see a vet or just keep an eye on it for now. I'll try to post a pic soon.

    Hmm, a lump ?

I don't know, is it really prominent ? Can you move it around gently with your finger, or is it solid in one place ?

I'd be worried it was a tumor of some kind. I think I'd be at the vet ASAP, just to be sure. If it turns out to be nothing that's fine, but if it is serious, the longer you delay, the harder it will be to have the breeder correct the situation with a refund or a new snake.

I agree, it definitely does not sound "normal". But without pictures, its hard to say...

Could be a tumor, or could be an abscess. Could even be an internal parasite that lives under the skin.

I would make pictures and send to the seller ASAP. How does it look today ??
